The Moon looked fabulous last night, and a little spooky with the stormy clouds passing over. It's waxing to full in Libra. The cardinal air sign Libra seeks graceful equipoise, and is put off by confrontation. But this Full Moon in Libra is jarred out of complacency on all sides by other cardinal energies.

Full Moons can bring revelation, and in Libra, it can center on relationships. It's not enough to lounge around sipping red wine, with Saturn in Libra in a conjunction to the Moon. This puts us in a serious frame of mind, with an eye on what we're balancing our relationships on. Is it stable? Does it need to be re-structured? Are some of our relationships feeling like a dead end?

The Full Moon is also square to Pluto in Capricorn, that long transit that is churning up the economic foundations of our lives. A lot of relationships are buckling under the added stress of job loss, survival fears. One might have to carry more of the financial load, while the other digs deeper and runs on trust, looking for the next right step.

The cherry on top is Aries chutzpa and cocky Mars Leo, which emboldens us to make tough choices, in the spirit of tough love. These fiery energies remind you that being true to yourself and following your passions make you a better, more generous lover, parent, friend, sibling, son or daughter. Striking the balance between all those formidable energies is the challenge of the day. It's an active, not passive expression of Libra, when bold new visions of balance can hit under this most romantic of Moons.
