The Story So Far...

A little bit of history about the site...

Originally it began as Psyche - the very first forum I ever built. The vision back then was to provide a forum that treated people equally with respect and dispelled alot of the misinformation out there regarding the paranormal. Back then (November 2007) I thought it important to share tools and knowledge and emerge into the light (hadn't quite grasped that we ARE the light at that point ).

Around April 2008, it took on a total transformation. Blue Water and Night Star came onboard as moderators and we worked on collaborating Psyche with Indigo Spirit and ideas we had for another forum to be called Temperance. The important aspects that we all agreed upon were uncovering truth, reducing fear and raising awareness. We realised the necessity of personalised balance in this process and promoted shared experiences rather than dictating facts to people. It was then that Light Warriors evolved out of the original sites.

Which brings us to recent events and the loss of the entire site and it's contents due to the server at forumarena crashing. Even though the crisis left us feeling angry and disappointed, the essence of what we had built was still within us. It would have been an even greater loss not to rebuild the site. Tongue in cheek I chose symbols from the tv show 'Lost' as buttons on the forum to pay homage to the death of the old site. I also chose hands to feature prominently as a sign of the human spirit remaining undefeated when reaching for the light. The bright blue colour scheme is in memory of Psyche in it's original incarnation. And the stars of course are linked to the original Light Warriors. You'll even find some purple in there for Indigo Spirit and teal for Temperance.

It's important to remember our roots and honour our journeys. I think we find deeper levels within ourselves by embedding meaning from past experiences in our psyches. When we read the whole story from beginning to end, the bigger picture can be seen more clearly. This is true also of the evolution of this site. Some of you may have been there from the very start. Some may only remember the first Light Warriors. Others have known Indigo Spirit as well as Light Warriors. Then there are those who have joined in only at this point in the history of the site. Wherever you came in or wherever you may exit, thank you for traveling with us some of the way during your own personal journey. That makes YOU part of the site's history too!

Indeed helping hands, and putting our hands heads and hearts together to build a structure on the solid foundation that brings us together. As our rays of light weave into a web that is created to be a source of help and understanding as we are all inter connected.
