This year's Gemini Full Moon is on December 1/2, depending on your time zone. For U.S. West Coasters, it's on the 1st at 11:30 pm Pacific time. The Eastern time zone exactness is on the 2nd at 2:30 a.m.
Other names for the December Full Moon: There are two Full Moons in December this year, so the second (on December 31st) will be a "Blue Moon." The December Moon is known as the Full Cold Moon or the Full Long Nights Moon. The name fits because the Moon is above the horizon for a long time, and the night is long at midwinter.
When the Moon is full in Gemini, the Sun is in the opposite sign of Sagittarius.
