Now that we are settled in our new home - seeya!!

Yup, I am leaving...well, just for 5 days I think I have earned a holiday - haven't had one in 20 years. So I am off to the sunny Gold Coast in Queensland Australia (abour 5 hours down the road from where I live) with my kids and my mum for a well earned rest. Not that it will be relaxing cos we are going to all the theme parks (Movieworld, Seaworld, Dreamworld) and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary which was my favourite place as a kid.

While I am away, the mods will look after the forum so if you have any problems, please don't hesitate to get in touch with one of them.

Just wanted to let y'all know that i am home and back on the forum. Phew! What a whirlwind holiday I had. Lots of very cool experiences and exhausting full on days. I think I need a holiday to recover from my holiday!

Anyoo, as they say, there is no place like home and it is good to be back among familiar faces. Now to have a quick tour of the board and see what's been happening in my absence...Loxley, is that a pirate flag I see flying over there near the banner?? I thought I told you no dictatorships while I was gone! Just kidding...nice job looking after things mods. Nice to see the forum is still here and hasn't mysteriously disappeared again after a catastrophic unrecoverable accident like on the last server.

I missed all of you big-time! I had an awesome time away...well except for the crazy drivers I encountered in the big cities that is...give me the wide open road of a country town anyday! My only regret is not being able to sneak any penguins or polar bears out of seaworld to bring home with me Still, my kitten and dog were waiting excitedly for me when I arrived home with the kids. I got to pat stingrays! Oh man, they feel so bizarre - like wet silky soft mushrooms! What an animal-tastic time I had!!

Crickies, I saw you wasn't around but I didn't know you was trying out to be the next Steve Irwin... Then again maybe I did or do know that at least in your own sweet way... :)

You know there is a ring, a big ole professional ring that needs to be Wisked away and if Wisk doesn't wash out that ring we could always try that stuff called Tide... See I'm doing a laundry detergent commercial here Big name Brand Products that I don't use as I can't afford to pay more so I'll buy X-tra to conserve on my finances... Too bad that so far as I try to clean up I don't always seem to get rid of the dirt... Maybe I need a little help...?

As for the stingray - he better watch where his barb goes, cos I got a good boomerang action ready - and boomerangs always return to their owners.
