Mercury Stations Direct
Tuesday May 11, 2010
It's been a confounding Mercury retrograde for a lot of people -- at least that's what I see from the net buzz. With Mercury Taurus, the words are slowly crafted, and there's already an economy of language. In retrograde, it's possible that a lot of perceptions have been kept on the down low, held close for further inspection. Or you may sense something, but not be able to put it into words yet. The bigger picture, and the outward expression of what's been perceived will likely come later.
Mercury stations direct today, which could start to ease any stuck situations. But Mercury is in direct shadow to May 28th, since it's covering the ground it just did in reverse. Mercury's retrograde reminds me all those times of sitting in the wayback of the Vista Cruiser station wagon while Mom ran errands. If we were going faster than other cars, they looked like they were going backwards, like Mercury's retrograde looks from Earth. When Mercury stations direct, the car is turning around, you've flopped over the seats (in those days, seat belts were optional) to find your way to the front, facing ahead. It's a new perspective on what you just saw on the way there.
Mercury will hit new territory on May 28th, at 12 degrees -- that's the degree where the retrograde cycle started. Between now and then, we get another look at what we've been reviewing. Since it's Taurus, this means starting to see the solid outline of what we're trying to achieve. And seeing practical steps that can get us there.
