Other names for the November Full Moon: In earlier times, this was when the traps were set before rivers and lakes froze, leading the name Full Beaver Moon. According to the Farmer's Almanac, this signified the season of creating winter coats out of pelts. And also symbolic of the busy beaver preparing for winter. It's also known as the Frosty Moon. In some Wiccan traditions, it's Mourning Moon.
When the Moon is full in Taurus, the Sun is in the opposite sign of Scorpio.
