What’s the big picture for your life? Always have a larger, purposeful, even spiritually ideal picture of where you are going. Your mind needs to have a clear and challenging vision to draw you ever upwards.

My vision is to build a world of light even if it is just in the environment I share with my kids. No matter what I do, I intend to bring compassion and understanding through to the world in my energy. Sometimes this leaves me isolated and alone or in conflict with others, but I stay true to who I am. My choices could have me branded mentally ill but I choose to see myself as mentally active. Afterall, words are mere labels and doesn't the ultimate choice of who we are lay within ourselves? We can choose not to take on outside labels and put our faith in ourselves or we can choose to give that personal power away.

Vision does not have to be cataclysmic. My vision is to be peaceful and happy. When I achieve this it feels so beautiful and authentic and opens the doors to greater things. Some of those things are surprises. Wouldn't life be a bore if it were all planned out to the smallest detail? I think the key to aspirations is that they cause us to look 'up' meaning that we look to our higher selves for fulfillment. This is where a meaningful existence is born - through the openness and awareness that the things of true value come through our higher selves and not physicality or the material world.
